General Fatigue Consultation
Persistent fatigue is often your body saying something is wrong.
Many people assume that feeling exhausted all the time is simply part of being busy, getting older, or juggling the demands of everyday life. But persistent fatigue is often a sign that something deeper needs attention, whether that’s a nutritional deficiency, poor sleep quality, chronic stress or burnout, or an underlying medical condition.
Rather than accepting low energy as your “normal”, this consultation is designed to identify the root causes of your fatigue and address them through a personalised, evidence-based approach. By optimising nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and other lifestyle factors, we aim to restore your energy, improve your overall health, and help you feel like yourself again.
This consultation may be right for you if you:
Feel tired despite getting enough sleep.
Have been told your blood tests are “normal”, but you still don’t feel well.
Feel like your energy is preventing you from living life to the fullest.
Want a thorough assessment rather than a quick fix.
Common Concerns We Address:
Why am I tired even after sleeping?
Why does my energy crash every afternoon?
Is this burnout, poor sleep, or something medical?
Which blood tests do I actually need?
What habits can help me to improve my energy without relying on medication?
Want to optimise your nutrition and lifestyle.
What we explore during this consultation:
Nutrition
We will look at your current nutrition patterns, nutrients you may be under or over consuming, meal timing, and more, to ensure you are fueling your body optimally. We may consider certain supplements that may be beneficial for you.
Sleep
The quality of our sleep is determined before we even get into bed. Our morning and nighttime routines affect both our sleep quality and quantity. We will optimise your daily habits to promote restful and restorative sleep.
Root cause
We will look at the underlying factors causing and contributing to your fatigue, instead of simply treating the symptoms or effects. This could be relating to your nutrition, sleep, or other habits.
Burnout
When we feel burnt out, we often struggle to take small, meaningful steps to improve our health and energy levels. During this consultation, we will review symptoms of burnout and work on the controllable factors that could be contributing to your fatigue.
Exercise
We will review your current exercise habits, including the type and frequency of your physical activity, and where changes may be beneficial. Too little movement can contribute to fatigue, as counter-intuitive as that seems.
Biomarkers
Depending on your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and personal preferences, we will do blood tests to rule out underlying nutritional deficiencies or medical conditions that could be contributing to your fatigue.
