What Services Do You Offer?
Dr Becker offers lifestyle medicine consultations focused on the prevention and lifestyle management of the following metabolic health conditions:

The following are outside the scope of these consultations:

General medical complaints or acute symptoms, including flu, colds, infections, headaches, abdominal pain, joint pain, urinary symptoms, unexplained fatigue, etc.

Investigation of new or unexplained symptoms.

Diagnosis of new medical conditions outside the metabolic health conditions listed above.

Diagnostic work-up requiring imaging, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI scans or similar investigations.

Emergency or urgent medical problems.
-
General medical check-ups or primary care.
An initial consultation (R2,000) includes:
💻 You will be sent pre-consult questionnaires that cover your nutrition, exercise, sleep, medical history, and more before even seeing Dr Becker.
👩⚕️ Dr Becker will personally review all your answers as well as all previous blood results and any additional medical records you upload.
🩸 Dr Becker will send you a list of blood test recommendations, specific to your history and goals, to be done before the appointment.
👥 You will then have a 1-hour appointment to review your results and plan with Dr Becker.
📑 You will receive a plan detailing nutrition, exercise, sleep and supplement recommendations to aid in improving your health and optimising your metabolic health and longevity.
Follow up appointments (R850 per 30 minutes) are designed to support you through implementing lifestyle changes with medical oversight incase your medication doses need to be adjusted.
A comprehensive metabolic health report (~20 pages) can be added to an initial consultation for an additional R500. This gives more detail on your blood results, optimal targets and metabolic health status.
